Food Culture

Article 24: Every child has the right to the best possible health. Governments must work to provide good quality health care, clean water, nutritious food and a clean environment so that children can stay healthy.

As a school, we are immensely proud of the food culture we are developing in school.

Our school lunches are cooked fresh from scratch every day in our designated kitchen by our chef. When we say “live together to learn together”, we want to live those values!

Lunch begins at twelve and finishes at one o’clock with children able to sit with friends from all year groups.

When we sit alongside our friends and the adults in the school, eating  together, we learn to talk, share and enjoy food whatever our background

Children are able to have a mixture of school meals and packed lunches, which are currently free for all children in Reception, Year One and Year Two and cost £2.60 for children in Key Stage 2.
